Save any of the data files to the folder where you unzipped your medieval map items pack using a right-click or option-click and “save as”. Then for the map items files, switch the “Use Default Map Items” drop-down to “Override Map Items” on the screen where you set your cities population, hex size, etc. and use the adjacent file chooser to select this file on your computer. For the data generator file, switch the “Use Default Data” drop-down to “Override Data” and use the adjacent file chooser to pick that file.
